The walkthrough
What the walkthrough shows.
One synthetic MRI, from arrival through a confirmed time. Reading a live order into the RIS, text booking,
waitlist texts, preparation texts, and messages to a referring office are not in this beta.
A different view for each role
In the walkthrough, each role sees the same order. Intake, authorization, and scheduling stay distinct.
Intake staff
- The walkthrough names a missing fact on the case.
- Staff can see who might follow up. Chalice does not contact the referring office.
Authorization coordinators
- In the walkthrough, authorization is separate from a missing fact.
- Status and the end date stay on that case. This is not a live payer connection.
- Denials and peer-to-peer work stay with a person.
Schedulers
- In the walkthrough, eligible openings appear on the staff schedule.
- A time is booked only after it is confirmed on the phone screen.
- A time past the authorization end date cannot be confirmed.
Patients
- The phone screen shows the site, the exam, the date, and the time.
- Choosing a time is not a booking until they confirm it in the walkthrough.
- No text is sent. A person at the center is the contact if they need help.
Referring physicians
- The walkthrough can show received, missing, and booked on the same case.
- Chalice does not message the ordering office.
Administrators
- An attention board shows what needs a person.
Technologists
- A technologist reviews screening answers and decides whether the patient may be examined.
- The software does not make that decision.
