Chalice beside the tools a center already pays for.

These tables describe categories, not a named vendor’s contract. “Sometimes” means some products in that category do the row and some do not. Chalice does not replace a RIS, and it does not make a safety decision.

Five stills for intake, a missing item, authorization, a booked opening, and a handoff.

Chalice vs RIS scheduling modules

A RIS scheduling module serves that vendor’s system. A Chalice connection to a RIS is something to validate per center.

Chalice vs prior-authorization services

A prior-authorization service works the payer or the benefit manager. Keep it if you want. Chalice records the result and stops scheduling past the end date. Sending authorizations from Chalice is on the roadmap, not a current replacement for that service.

Chalice vs patient reminder tools

A reminder tool messages patients about an appointment that already exists. The Chalice walkthrough illustrates the work before that appointment. Prep steps, screening questions, reminders, and waitlist texts are on the roadmap. They are not in this beta.
